Now hosting clients can control SPAM protection from the control panel

Every day many of us, there are dozens, even hundreds of letters from spam. The number of such letters is growing every day - spammers are inventing new ways to collect addresses, bypass filters and mailing lists.

Company "GARM Technologies" introduces a new technology mail protection against spam. On April 6, 2005 clients of the company will be able to protect your mail from spam by using the "SpamAssassin". Mail filtering can enable and disable for each mailbox individually (domain.lv> Mail> email@domain.lv> Mailbox> Enable spam filtering ), as well as separately configure other settings through the control panel and "train" spam filter.

Filtering occurs once in several categories - black and white lists of addresses, correspondence letters to a certain pattern, content filtering messages and attachments.

As a result of the program each letter will be assigned a "rating". The higher, the more likely it is spam. Thus, users themselves can flexibly adjust dealing with suspicious mail (domain.lv > Mail > email@domain.lv > Spam Filter):

• letters to the highest "rated" you can sift directly on the mail server and you do not have to get this mail;
• letters from lower-rated can be downloaded to your computer for later analysis, you need this correspondence or not. In this case you can create in your mail client for her separate folder.
